Cosmetic Dentist – Teeth Bonding
Teeth bonding is a common solution for fixing or repairing chipped or cracked teeth, reducing unsightly gaps or spaces between teeth, and hiding discoloration or faded areas on your tooth’s surface. Bonding uses the application of a tooth-colored composite resin to repair a decayed, chipped, fractured, or discolored tooth.
Bonding is among the most affordable of cosmetic dental procedures. The resin used to bond can be shaped and polished for a seamless appearance that appears completely natural even if a tooth has been discolored or chipped. It can be used to close spaces between your teeth. It can even be used to make your teeth appear longer or change its shape if it is not to your liking.
Should you decide to use tooth bonding as your cosmetic dental treatment of choice, the procedure is simple: we will slightly etch the surface of your tooth to roughen it, coat it lightly with a conditioning liquid, then apply the resin to your teeth. We will then mold and smooth it until it is in the correct shape before finishing it with a hardening laser.
The procedure can take roughly from 30 minutes to an hour to complete for a single tooth. Whether you’re from Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Brier, or Lynnwood, our dental center is conveniently located for appointments that may need extra time in your busy day.
